Oh my it’s fall! Wife came home from the natural foods store with all kinds of squashes and cornucopias and pumpkin looking things that are orange (but not a fruit), and man oh man it was time. Not to mention the temperature here dropped by like 10 degrees overnight and it was downright brisk this morning! So what was on tap to be made for dinner?
Grilled Pork Tenderloin marinated in soy sauce, garlic, rosemary, brown sugar and balsamic vinegar (drooling yet?)!
Not done! Baked Acorn Squash with brown sugar butter melted on top!
Just find these two recipes…marry them together like it was the last day on earth, and put it on a plate. My goodness were these two incredible! Now if I could just get my little guys to eat just a small piece of it…then we’d be alright.
Simply put grilled at like hotter than hot (turn every 3 minutes until tender – it’s all about feel)
Bake the squash at 400
Now bring on the pumpkin pie, apple picking and leaves!
