It’s based on a remote Indy movie called “The Room,” and what it took to actually make the film. Apparently it is considered one of the worst movies of all time, and stars a foreign actor speaking in pretty apparently not his first language. But the trailer for the movie involving James Franco, Seth Rogen and Dave Franco is absolutely mind blowingly funny…and I can’t figure out why!
Is it the language barrier that is there between the two Francis…is it the epic persistence of the character to make this incredibly stupid movie…is it the director scene where literally he just keeps yelling “line” “line “line,” and then by some off chance shot at the end he absolutely comes through and delivers it masterfully? Don’t know?
Probably not going to see it, probably will just read about the original and the actors on Wikipedia or something like that, and hash out the rest as it comes by, as with most of these epic trailers that are out nowadays.
Trailers are the new short. They take you right into the movie and give just about all of it away just so you might…might…go see it, or wait 9 months and get it on Netflix.
So…maybe for the first and only time…an article about… “The Room”
